[Jul. 15th, 2008|08:42 pm] |
Holy god, the production on this album is gonna change the way we experience sound.... you don't just listen to it. You push into it.

Telemetrik is an American drum & bass producer based out of Washington D.C. Known for his technical yet melodic style he is considered one of the most promising artists in drum & bass today. In 2002 Telemetrik began an independent label releasing the songs Nova and Monochrome. The music quickly caught the attention of various international producers including Impulse of Sinthetix. In 2003 Telemetrik and Impulse formed the duo Corrupt Souls. Corrupt Souls released under various established drum n bass lables including Moving Shadow, Renegade Hardware, and Black Sun Empire. Songs like 1138 on BSE, Wicked Life on Moving Shadow, and Samsara on Circle Recordings helped propel the duo into the drum n bass main stream. They were featured in Knowledge, Urb, and Rinse magazines as well as various online publications. The duo toured extensively throughout the United States and Europe before splitting up in 2005. Presently Telemetrik has returned to solo work beginning with the production of a full length drum & bass album titled My Lightyear. The record is scheduled for a late 2007 release on Black Sun Empire Recordings and will undoubtedly be considered the producers finest work to date. ACT I: (OUT NOW) A - Telemetrik - Cosmos B - Telemetrik & Impulse - R.U.R. (posted this bulletin today)
Weekends like these really let you know you your friends are.
After an entire weekend of no sleep, serious raving and not having a pause in conversation for a straight 72 hours, how many people would then agree to drive me back to boston and then sit in stopped traffic for three hours ontop of the four hour round trip and not complain about it?
Marty, you're the best friend a girl could have, ontop of being the best boyfriend. Thats just not something commonly found in the human race. You don't just spoil me either, you bring Fun to everyone who needs it, whether they like it or not. And the world thanks you for it.
Luke, you've been an honest friend to me for almost a year. We antagonize the shit out of each other, and complain about everything, but it's way more fun than joining a chess club.
Not many people are consistent with the respect they show someone through as many useless arguments, stupid fights, annoying car rides and miserable monday mornings as the three of us have had this past year. We've partied amazing weekends and been on the road for more sunrises than boston commuters. Thank you both so much for giving me something that I can always say is worth the fight.
UNTIL THE NEXT EPIC WEEKEND!
Love, Danger

I don't post a lot because I can't pay attention well. But I can make one astute assesment at the gravity of the events I witnessed last night. All these people, these groups, these individuals, these strangers, these friends, all under question for whatever reason... Last night they all chose to take the risk, bring the noise, throw down, make no apologies and take responsibility for the amazing damage it allowed.
Nobody can deny. Whatever chaos occured, it was way more productive than usual. Good work, all around. Keep the mess creative. And stay hydrated.
ST8CYDE YOU FUCKIN KILLED IT!!! OP:BREAK NONDESKRIPT YOU MAKE BEATS PROUD TO BE PLAYED, BALLINADAM WE LOVE YOUR HATER HAT, LADIES, I PERSONALLY ENJOY YOUR HOTNESS, KEEP GOING BANANAS, IT LOOKS GREAT ON YOU!!! |

| Can you hear me now, all my beat lovers.... |
[Jun. 17th, 2008|12:44 am] |
Raving has never been more serious....

Just checking up on everyone... are we all still here? Has everyone brought their permission slips? This is it, this is month we wait all year for and look back on the whole next winter... This is what we always want to remember it being like... for years to come... You can't get a second chance at your memories. So... Ready to kill it this summer and make our mark?
All I ask... Is that everyone stay hydrated. |
